What next after A-Levels?

A-Levels aren't just about university. They can lead to access courses, BTECs and apprenticeships. There’s also the option of studying a foundation year at university as well as continuing to study at Trafford College.

Thanks to our merger with Stockport College, students are now able to study a wider range of courses to a higher level at Altrincham and Stretford campuses due to our wider pool of lecturers and resources.

To find out more, come and speak to our careers advisors about your options on A-Level Results Day. They will be available at Student Services in the Atrium of Altrincham Campus off Manchester Road on Thursday 15th August from 10am to 2pm, and throughout the following week.

Careers advisor Julie Manning said: “We will be available for drop in sessions all day to help you contact universities and discuss the wide range of options available that can take you to your career goal.”

As well as supporting students through adjustments with UCAS (when grades are better than expected) and clearing, if results aren’t what you’ve hoped for, Trafford College careers advisors are expert at helping students explore different options and choices.
