Digital Open Day inspires students
The Trafford College Group has hosted another hugely successful Open Event with over 700 students and their families attending virtually.
The event was an extension of the College's support for students who are making decisions about their next steps after GCSEs, or those who have decided to get back into education and follow a new career path. The College has an excellent reputation for helping students secure places at some of the best universities in the country, or progress into the workplace or onto apprenticeships.
During the event, students were treated to an immersive digital experience, taking a tour of the campus, exploring subject areas, meeting tutors and staff, and familiarising themselves with the campus and study areas in preparation for college life .
Current star students and tutors were also on hand to give an insight into the College's broad range of study options, along with some of the career paths linked to the courses learners could choose to study.
Trafford College group Principal, James Scott commented, "We are delighted with the success of yet another amazing Open Event and to have welcome so many students and parents to the College, albeit virtually.
"After what has been another incredibly difficult year, we want to make sure that making the right choice of college is anything but, and our staff are here to ensure the process is as smooth as possible."
