The HARA to perform at Trafford College
Trafford College students will be treated to a very special performance by Alternative band The HARA at two of the College's campuses next month.
Tipped as the next big UK band by BBC Introducing, the band are finding time outside of their busy touring schedule to visit schools and educate students in making the right choices in regards to Online Safety & Cyber Bullying. The group also discuss mental health and well-being with students, empowering them with the confidence to speak about their state of mind, and the tools to recognise when to reach out for support in challenging times.
All three band members, Josh Taylor (frontman), Zack Breen (guitar) and Jack Kennedy (drums) were bullied or cyber bullied as youngsters for being "different" and now feel they are the perfect advocates for delivering such a positive message to young pupils.
The lively and energetic band formed in 2017 after Josh met guitarist Zack and drummer Jack online through their shared love of music and performing. Their music is a mix of pop and rock, inspired by bands such as Panic at the Disco!, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, and Kings of Leon. ‘Made To Be’ from their debut EP achieved #2 in the official iTunes Alternative Single Charts and they have already completed three headline tours.
The much anticipated performances will take place on Friday 6th December at 10:30-11:30am at the College’s Stretford campus, and between 2-3pm at the Altrincham campus.
