Meet our new FA Grassroots Football Activators
Three higher education learners are aiming make football count for all students this academic year.
Students should be on the look out for Chloe Gosnay, Cerys Martinez and Liam Beaumont around Altrincham and Stretford campuses for more information about playing football.
They are all studying our Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching this September, coming from BTECs in Sport & Exercise Science, Fitness and Coaching Development and Fitness Instruction.
City-fan Liam, who coaches children and adults at Urmston Town FC with aspirations of coaching at a professional level, said: "I enjoy football and I've taken on the role of Sport Activator to encourage more people to find out what's great about the game."
Football player, Cerys, said: "I love sport and want other people to see what there is to love as a Sport Activator!"
Chloe added: "It's great for our employability. Students - come give us a wave!"
Wednesdays 12:30-13:30 at Stretford Sports Village
Mondays 12-1pm at the Sports Barn
Wednesdays (girls only) 1-2pm at the Sports Barn & 3-4pm at the Sports Barn
Trafford College has a boys' team, which trains every Monday and Tuesday at the Sports Barn from 4:30-6:30pm.
