This course is designed to prepare you for a career as a professional sports coach. Whether you want to work in performance, participation, in schools, governing bodies, professional sports clubs or a commercial activity setting, the course aims to challenge and support your development to be the best sports coach you can be.

Whether you aspire to coach children, adolescents or adults as a professional sports coach we will extend your knowledge and understanding of how to design coaching sessions, plan for participant development or adapt your delivery to achieve desired outcomes, we’ll help you get there.

This course is offered in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) and provides you with access to the wide range of sporting facilities available at the SHU campus, including sports pitches, gyms, libraries and training centres. You can also join the university sports teams and benefit from opportunities to coach individuals and/or teams as part of your development as a professional coach.
