Gardening Skills - Online

This remote short course is designed for those would like to learn a range of gardening techniques from home. Each week a new technique is demonstrated and discussed providing enough guidance that the learner can them practice this at home. Advance notice of the technique being taught is given learners can perform the task at the same time as the demonstration. This course will be open to learners from a large geographical area so those further away from the campus will have the chance to learn more about gardening skills. Techniques such as a range of propagation methods, the basics & timing of pruning, a knowledge of composting systems, and introduction to soils and growing media.
