Course Overview

During this course you will learn basic Spanish words and phrases to get you started or re-started with this colourful language and to help you get the most out of trips to Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. You will learn very quickly how to introduce yourself and make different greetings.

Moving on, you will learn how to ask for items when out shopping or in your hotel and to ask for (and understand!) directions and travel advice. You will develop your pronunciation skills, numbers, and the intricacies that make the Spanish language something wonderful and rewarding to learn.

This course runs for 15 weeks, 6.30pm – 8.30pm each week.

Course Requirements

Participants are not required to possess any previous knowledge or expertise. We welcome individuals with a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a willingness to actively engage and contribute.

There will be no formal assessment

Progression

Participants have the opportunity to progress to the Improvers Spanish Programs. Additionally, we provide a selection of other language courses, including French, Italian, and Greek.

While learning Spanish may not lead to direct career advancement, it can provide you with valuable skills and experiences that can indirectly benefit your professional life. Additionally, it can enhance your overall cultural awareness and language learning abilities, which can be advantageous in various career contexts.
