Our Introduction Microsoft Excel course is suitable for complete beginners to Microsoft Excel. At the end of this course you will have a good working knowledge of Excel basics and feel confident using Excel and be able to create a spreadsheet from scratch.

This course runs over 10 weeks, with a total of 20 hours.

A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows is required. There is no requirement to have any knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

1. Understanding and using some of the built-in calculation and formula functionality will allow you to be more productive in your work and home Excel environments.

2. Spreadsheets that you create will be easier to use and look more presentable.

This course will cover areas such as:

1. Getting Started
2. Entering and Editing data
3. Modifying a Worksheet
4. Using Functions
5. Formatting Worksheets
6. Working with Large Worksheets
7. Printing
8. Using Templates

After completing this course, you will be prepared to enrol on our?Intermediate Use of Microsoft Excel course.

This course is not exam based. Your progress and learning will be monitored through informal observations of the work you complete in class, exercises consolidating your learning and classroom-based questions. All assessment is informal and designed to ensure you maximise your learning potential.

The Tuition fee for this course is ?200.00 You may be eligible for a full fee remission if you are in receipt of certain benefits or earning less than ?20,888 per annum (if residing within Greater Manchester)
