Safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations. Requirements for completing the inspection of electrical installations prior to there being placed into service, requirements for the safe testing and commissioning of electrical installations, requirements for the completion of electrical installation certificates, electrical installation condition reports and associated documentation. It also includes safety of systems and equipment prior to completion of inspection, testing and commissioning Inspection of electrical installations prior to them being placed into service, and existing installations’ Health and Safety requirements.
If you’re a practicing electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work, this qualification is designed to provide those seeking progression in their career with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the Electrotechnical industry.
City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Initial Verification (2391-50)
City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection (2391-51)
City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing (2391-52)
Electrician
One online multiple choice exam, two ‘short answer’ written exams and 1 day practical assessment which will be arranged once the multiple choice and written exams have been passed.
The one-day practical assessment is in addition to the six days required for the course and is scheduled at a mutually agreed date with each candidate.
The tuition fee for this course is £300.00.
However, this course is fully funded (FREE) and available to anyone who falls within the eligibility requirements below:
• Age 19+
• EU / UK Resident for 3+ years
