This course introduces students to the concept of and challenges faced with recycling and waste management within the logistics and supply chain sector.

Course Requirements

Applicants must possess basic knowledge of waste disposal and recycling opportunities.

Assessment

Students will be assessed through direct observation of a practical task, professional discussions may be recorded and written evidence (workbook or assignment)

This is useful qualification for anyone involved in facility management or industry and is part of the new sustainability agenda for all workplaces.

Any persons who are working in industry or new entrants to industry, it supports the job roles of waste operative, recycling operative, compost operative, household waste recycling operative (cleaning technician, lab technician, workshop technician,) caretaker, facility manager.
