Level 2 Diploma in Applied Science and Technology

The course content will involve:

Scientific knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Laboratory & Investigative skills
Digital skills and how they are used in a modern scientific community.

The majority of students will move on to the Level 3 Applied Science course offered at Trafford College.

The primary purpose of this qualification is to support progression to further learning, but for some learners it could lead
to an entry-level job role in a science or technology setting such as a laboratory assistant, or to a role as an apprentice,
e.g. a science technician, electronic service technician or process operative.

Portfolio of work including examinations, written and practical assignments.

This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and the European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
