Course Overview

The City and Guilds 2365-03 Level 3 course aims to give learners the basic underpinning knowledge and practical skills required for progression into the electro-technical industry.
The Level 3 course is built on the successful completion of the following units:

Health & Safety in Building Services Engineering
Principles of Electrical Science
Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis & Rectification
Electrical Installations: Inspection, Testing & Commissioning
Electrical Systems Design
Career Awareness in Building Services Engineering

Please note that a key component of any full time programme is work experience, therefore we advise learners applying for the course to start sourcing out potential industry related opportunities during their time at college.
In addition the completion of GCSE maths or English is mandatory unless a suitable exemption by GCSE certificates can be provided.

Course Requirements

4 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above (including maths and/or English Language).

The completion of a variety of online multiple choice, written and practical assessments strategically planned during the academic year.

City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, ONC/HNC in Building Services or Electrical Engineering or Environmental Awareness courses.
