Our Welcome to French course will have you learning the basics of this beautiful language, preparing you for the next steps in your understanding of France, the language and the customs. As well as learning the language, students will be learning about different French-speaking countries and cultures.

You’ll cover basic topics, useful for everyday conversation, including talking about yourself and your profession and making hotel or dinner reservations. You’ll start to understand the use of regular verbs -er, -ir and -re in the present tense and irregular verbs, être avoir, aller and faire.
