This programme is for anyone who wants to fly the skies as part of a cabin crew. This Level 2 Diploma will prepare you for a career in the industry, giving you the broad range of knowledge, skills and expertise you’ll need for this demanding but exciting role.
As a member of the cabin crew, you will focus on how to make passengers feel comfortable on a plane and how to complete a range of regular service duties during each flight. You’ll also be introduced to the diverse nature of the role and learn all about the cabin crew tasks that you don’t normally see.
You’ll learn all about airline emergency procedures and health, safety and security policies, as well as focusing on the terminology you’ll need to know to be successful, including phonetics, international time, aircraft types, and airport abbreviations.

Specialist lecturers from the airline and aviation industry will be teaching on this course. Current Cabin Crew will be brought in for guest speaker lectures.
Students may progress to employment within the industry. Successful students from previous years have gained employment with leading scheduled and charter airlines such as: British Airways, Emirates and Virgin. Other students are working at Manchester Airport in a range of operational roles such as check in.
Assessment is by course work, role plays in our aircraft cabin, off site assessment of water survival and firefighting, one online exam. You will achieve the City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew. Examining/Validating body City and Guilds.
The Tuition fee for this course is £1,210.00 You may be eligible for a full fee remission if you are in receipt of certain benefits or earning less than £20,888 per annum (if residing within Greater Manchester)
