Course Overview

There is a national trend for highly qualified hairdressers who cater for a wide variety of clients seeking creative high fashion looks. Our Level 3 Hairdressing programme will develop and perfect your hairdressing skill set giving you a head start when seeking employment or setting up your own business. Training takes place in our professional academy salons. working on clients you will gain a range of hairdressing skills and techniques to support you in your future career.

The programme includes advanced styling and dressing hair, colouring and colour correction, advanced cutting techniques and client consultation. Our industry expert teachers will support you to develop confidence and expertise to a high professional standard. The course will support you in the promotion of products and develop your business and entrepreneurial skills.

Course Requirements

4 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above (including maths and/or English Language).

What you will Learn

This course will provide opportunities for you to develop and enhance your skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for an independent and confident stylist.

Assessment

As part of the qualification you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence. A portfolio will showcase your knowledge and understanding that you have learnt.
