This is a full time study programme primarily to provide education and training for sport, leisure and recreation employees. Students who undertake this course will look to progress to higher education and/or employment within the sport and active leisure sector, a sector which has consistently outperformed the rest of the UK economy.
Whilst there are some practical elements within the study programme, content will largely focus on the theoretical application of the key strands of sport.
You will be expected to find a suitable work experience placement in your first year.
