Course Overview

Who is the programme for?
The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership is for candidates that have recently completed a Level 2 or are working in the hospitality sector, with responsibility for leading a team of staff. You will broaden your existing knowledge and gain important leadership and management skills.

What is the programme structure?
The programme consists of a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
The certificate requires 56 credits, taken from units covering leadership, working relationships, customer service, control of resources and some units appropriate to the role e.g. kitchen or reception supervision.
There are no special facilities/requirements for the programme.

Candidates will need to meet the costs of providing files and plastic wallets and are strongly recommended to purchase the NVQ Level 3 Hospitality Supervision & Leadership handbook. An extensive work experience placement is also a requirement for this course

Course Assessment

How is the programme assessed?
Assessment is continuous, with candidates undertaking practical work and producing written evidence to meet the requirements of the Certificate. Candidates will produce a portfolio which will be internally and externally verified.
