Mechanical Engineering - Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma

Course Overview

This course is designed to meet the requirements of students wishing to gain employment within the maintenance engineering industry. The course is also suitable for anyone who wishes to progress to higher education in their chosen field, or who wishes to gain basic understanding of process maintenance theory and practice.

Course Requirements

5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) minumum, including English Language and Science.
GCSE Mathematics at grade 5 (B) minimum.

Year 2 (Extended Diploma)
In addition to Year 1 entry citeria applicants require a 90-Credit Diploma at pass grade.

Course Finance

This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and ther European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on the 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
