Level 2 Domestic Heating (Full time)

Course Overview

Designed for full time students only wishing to become a gas engineer.

The course consists of a Diploma in Gas Studies at Level 2. The course is both internally and externally assessed and is made up of a series of practical and written tasks. This will make up the underpinning knowledge for the trainee gas engineer. Obtaining this qualification allows anyone entering the gas profession who is not currently employed in a gas engineer the capacity to seek employment with the sector where NVQ evidence can be gathered.

Learning is through classroom based and practical workshop activities. A variety of teaching and learning strategies are employed.

Completion of Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English is compulsory unless a suitable exemption by GCSE certificates can be provided.Learners must be dedicated and committed to the requirements of the course and Trafford College with a high level of attendance and punctuality supported by continues home study.Please contact:- michael.morgan@trafford.ac.uk.
