The course provides an introduction into the sector with a balance between developing practical skills and theoretical aspects of hair, make-up beauty and nails. Our Level 1 Professional programme has two pathways, Hair and Make-up or Beauty and Nails.
With expert guidance you will develop your basic practical hair and beauty skills to a professional standard.
During practical lessons you will take part in a range of demonstrations, workshops, discussion and research activities presenting and communicating your ideas through practical work and a portfolio of evidence. Theory classes will involve developing your knowledge through discussion and answering questions in preparation for written examinations.

Our students have an excellent record of success with career prospects that include:

A minimum of 36 hours work experience which is integral to the course and is assessed as part of the practical element.
High attendance and punctuality is an expectation for the course and is essential to certification and progression.
