Health & Social Care Level 1 Introductory Diploma

Course Overview

The Health and Social Care Level 1 Introductory Diploma has been designed to provide a broad educational basis for further training, further education or for moving into appropriate employment within the health and social care sectors. This course enables students to reflect on their own learning skills as well as further academic and vocational routes into their chosen profession.

Course Requirements

2 GCSEs at grade 2 or above including English and maths. All successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check.

Rights, society and discrimination
Care provision
Nutrition and the role of the carer at mealtimes

Course Assessment

A selection of assignments and timed assessments graded Pass. Requires 1 week block placement.

Course Finance

This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and the European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
