Foundation Learning - Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

Course Overview

Foundation Learning specialises in a range of Study Programmes from Entry Level 2 to Level 1. Our Entry 2 Further Study Programme provides transition from a more supportive environment to a busy, mainstream college.

All learners will continue to study maths and English, at a level appropriate for them and will also work towards building their independent study skills and employability skills to help them to progress to higher levels of study or employment. These vital skills are developed through a range of tailored trips, visits and residential opportunities allowing young people to develop both professionally and personally.

Progression options are available at higher levels, in addition to our hugely successful Supported Internship programme for SEND learners who are ready for employment.
