Engineering Level 3 Diploma (G&G)

Course Overview

This is a two year course which will cover aspects of both electrical and mechanical engineering.Throughout the course, you will be covering a variety of subjects such as engineering drawing, health and safety, product design and microcontroller systems. You will learn how to program in order to control mechanical or electrical systems, study the physics needed to design a circuit or the principles that make everything work. You will be building up the skills needed solve problems and to design solutions, applying physics and maths to the needs of industry.

Course Requirements

Five GCSEs grades 9-4 including English and maths at grade 4.
This is a one year course that is equivalent to 1.5 A levels.
You will complete the National Foundation Diploma course in your first year, and you can then progress onto our Extended Diploma qualification in your second year, in the same subject. This will help you to attain the optional units required to attain the full 3 A level equivalent qualification in your chosen subject.
