Digital Support Services: Digital Infrastructure T Level

Course Overview

T Levels are new two-year, technical study programmes, designed with employers to give young people the skills that industry needs. T Levels will provide a mixture of technical knowledge and skills and a relevant industry placement. On completion students will be able to choose between moving into a skilled occupation or further study, for example, a higher degree level apprenticeship, or higher level technical study, including higher education.

Course Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above including maths and English Language.

Explain, install, configure, test and manage both physical and virtual infrastructure.
Discover, evaluate and apply reliable sources of knowledge.

Mandatory Units

Core content of underpinning knowledge, concepts and skills tailored to employment in the digital infrastructure sector.
Specialist training covering industry specific skills.
An industry placement with an employer for a minimum of 45 working days.

Course Progression

On completion of the T Level you may move onto skilled employment with a relevant employer, or you may chose further study for example a higher or degree level apprenticeship or higher technical study including higher education.
The course is specifically aimed at students who are looking to progress into employment in the wide field of digital support services.

Course Assessment

The course is assessed by a mix of an external examination, a substantial employer set project and synoptic assessment through vigorous practical assignments.
