- Airline Health, Safety and Security
- Airline Emergency Procedures
- Crew Room Duty
- Role of Air Cabin Crew (on board)
- Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew
This is a professional vocational qualification, endorsed by many UK airlines preparing the learner for the role of air cabin crew. Therefore, strict entry requirements are applied to ensure student commitment in preparation for the role.
Course Skills & Benefits
All students will be required to purchase a uniform, which will cost around £110.00. Day visits will cost approximately £200.00. Other uniform items such as scarves, blouses and shoes may incur additional costs. Financial support may be available for students experiencing financial difficulties.
Exam fees will be payable for students who are 19 or over.
Are there any special facilities for the programme?
Specialist lecturers from the airline and aviation industry will be teaching on this course. Current Cabin Crew are guest speakers..
Students may progress to employment within the industry. Successful students from previous years have gained employment with leading scheduled and charter airlines such as: British Airways, Emirates, Virgin and Monarch. Other students are working at Manchester Airport in a range of operational roles such as check in.
What award will I achieve? You will achieve the City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew. Examining/Validating body City and Guilds
