Course Overview

The global beauty and cosmetic market is forecast to rise, with the growing demand of conscious cosmetology and non-invasive skin and body treatments. The beauty industry caters for a wide variety of clientele who seek luxurious treatments that work.
Learn about this rewarding sector, with our Level 3 Beauty Therapy programme.
You will train in the college Enhance commercial salon, which includes our Elemis partnership training room, spa and hydrotherapy salon.
Our excellent industry connections will provide placements and visits. Our dedicated team of specialist tutors will introduce you to the comprehensive range of technology to perform advanced anti-aging skin care treatments and advanced body treatments.

Course Requirements

4 GCSE's at grade 3 or above including English and maths. Level 2 Beauty Therapy and/or Level 2 Nail Technology.
Completion of a successful interview is also required.

Course Assessment

You will be assessed continually throughout the course by practical assessments, reasearch assignments and final written end exams.

A minimum of 36 hours work experience which is integral to the course and is assessed as part of the practical element.

High attendance and punctuality is an expectation for the course and is essential to certification.

Course Finance

This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and ther European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on the 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
