Apprenticeships

Why Choose Apprenticeships?

Hiring an apprentice is a productive and effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce. Apprenticeships can also help you develop the specialist skills needed to keep pace with the latest technology and working practices in your sector.

One of the most significant benefits of apprenticeships, for employers and staff alike, is that they help organisations keep their employees motivated and committed for the long-term, by helping them develop their skills over several years. Your apprentice(s) will be working in the knowledge that at the end of this period they will have a qualification that is tremendously valuable to them individually and to you as an employer.

Employer Incentive

An incentive payment of £1000 is available to employers who hire an apprentice aged 16 to 18 years old or aged 19 to 24 with an education, health, and care plan or who has been in the care of their local authority.
